Owners who want the business and personal side handled by the same people, and individuals whose returns have outgrown tax software.

How it works

You get a document checklist built for your situation. We prepare the return, walk you through it and file. If anything looks different from last year, we explain why before you sign.

Document checklist — Sample

  • W-2 from your S-corporation
  • Schedule K-1 (Form 1120-S)
  • Brokerage 1099s
  • Rental income and expenses
  • Mortgage interest (Form 1098)
  • Foreign account balances, if any

The problem

What we did
Documented qualifying activities against the four-part test, calculated the credit, and prepared Form 6765 with the return, along with a supporting memo.
The result
A credit claim backed by documentation that holds up to questions.

Questions

What do you need from me?

After the intro call, we send a checklist built for your situation: your entities, your states, your accounts. Not a generic 40-item form.

Do you file in more than one state?

Yes. Multi-state returns are routine for us, including for clients who moved during the year or earn income in several states.

I have bank accounts outside the U.S. Do I need to report them?

Probably. If your foreign accounts added up to more than $10,000 at any point during the year, you generally need to file an FBAR. Larger foreign holdings may also require Form 8938 with your return; for single filers living in the U.S., that threshold starts at $50,000. Penalties for missing these can be steep, so it’s worth checking.

I got a letter from the IRS or the state. Can you help?

Yes. Send it to us before you respond. Many notices can be resolved with a clear written reply, and some penalties can be reduced or removed when there was reasonable cause or a clean prior record.
