Who it’s for
Owners doing their own books late at night, businesses whose bookkeeping has fallen behind, and companies that have outgrown a spreadsheet.
How it works
Setup and any catch-up come first. After that, a monthly close on a set schedule, statements delivered to you, and time to talk through anything unusual.

The problem
A new fund making program-related investments needed books that could show its board and the IRS exactly where every dollar went.
What we did
Set up QuickBooks Online with nonprofit pricing through TechSoup, connected the bank feeds, and designed a chart of accounts for restricted and unrestricted net assets, program-related investments and functional expenses. Monthly statements and the annual 990 filing are included.
The result
Nonprofit-grade books from day one, with an investment schedule that ties directly to the financial statements.
A bookkeeper records what happened. An accountant also tells you what it means for your taxes and your decisions. With us, the people keeping your books are the same people preparing your return and planning ahead, so nothing gets lost between the two.
Which accounting software do you use?
We work in whatever system fits your business. We have experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite and Xero, and we connect the tools around them, like point-of-sale, bill pay, expense cards and payroll, so transactions flow in on their own. If you use something else, we’ll talk it through on the intro call.
My books are behind. Can you catch them up?
Yes. We scope catch-up work separately, get you current, then keep you current.
How often will I hear from you?
You’ll get financial statements every month and a regular check-in. Between those, email us whenever something comes up.
General information, not advice for your specific situation.
Let’s talk about your numbers.
Twenty minutes. We’ll listen, ask good questions and tell you honestly whether we can help.
