Who it’s for
Owners with several locations or entities, businesses preparing for growth, financing or a sale, and anyone making big decisions without a clear forecast.
How it works
We start with the numbers you have, fix what isn’t reliable, then build a reporting rhythm you can run the business on.

The problem
Each month’s results were pieced together by hand from the point-of-sale system, supplier invoices and bank statements across separate entities. By the time the owners saw the numbers, the month was long gone.
What we did
Connected Toast, MarginEdge and QuickBooks Online, put every entity on one chart of accounts, and built a monthly reporting package around the numbers restaurants run on: prime cost, food cost and labor as a share of sales.
The result
One monthly view of each location and of the group as a whole.
What’s the difference between a fractional CFO and a bookkeeper?
A bookkeeper tells you what happened. A CFO helps you decide what to do next: where cash will be in three months, which location is carrying the others, whether you can afford the next hire.
Do I need a full-time CFO?
Probably not yet. Most small and mid-sized businesses need CFO-level judgment a few days a month, not 40 hours a week. A fractional arrangement gets you the thinking without the salary.
Can you work across multiple entities or locations?
Yes. Combining results across entities and comparing locations is some of our most useful work, and it’s usually where manual reporting breaks down.
Which systems do you work with?
QuickBooks Online most often, along with point-of-sale, payroll, bill pay and expense tools. We also have experience with larger ERP systems for companies that have outgrown QuickBooks.
